Eustathios Kostopoulos is a graduate of the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Medical Department of the Hellenic Military Academy of Combat Support Officers (SMAS). He trained at the Naval Hospital of Crete and the Naval Hospital of Athens before completing his specialization in the United Kingdom. He received the title of Orthopaedics and Traumatology specialist after successful examinations. He also became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Great Britain and a Fellow of the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology after successful examinations. He currently serves as the Director of the Orthopaedic Clinic at the Naval Hospital of Crete. He also maintains a private practice and collaborates with private hospitals in Chania
